Review Element Symbols and Names
HW:
To begin research. Students will show me a rough draft of their research for the cube project. I just want to see what they are finding/using for research.
Also, they have a quiz on the Names/Symbols of common elements from the Periodic Table. Quiz is matching and will be on Friday/Monday.
Lab: How much Solute can you get to dissolve into a solvent?
We will be measuring how much salt and lemonade mix we can get to dissolve into a certain amount of water. We will then break down some vocabulary (Solute, Solvent, Solution, Saturation, Dissolve)
